St. John's Lutheran Church records, 1755-1959.

Records consist of minute books (1767-1942); registers (1755-1959); list of communicants (1828-1925); church rules (1810, 1818); lists of members (1810-1890, with actual signatures of members); lists of pew holders (1815-1845); records of interments (1830-1844); and pew seating charts. Also included is a handwritten transcript of epitaphs in the church graveyard (1941), some records from an old family Bible (in German), an old plat of the cemetery, and a record of contributions for relief of Lutheran churches after the 1886 Charleston earthquake.
